Interesting essay. As a Christian, I believe we are all equal in the eyes of God meaning we all have equal access to his love, forgiveness, and salvation, even if things will never be equitable on this earth. As a Christian, my faith also propels me to treat all people as equals, respectfully and kindly. But economic equality, or equity if you will, is not something that is possible or even truly just when you consider the means it would take to achieve such a goal.
