Interesting article, Randy. It sounds like you had a great trip with some enlightening conversations. I don’t share the world’s pessimism, since we’ve always had a turbulent history and there have been many times when things have been worse. The Ugly American, written in the fifties, highights a lot of the world’s disdain for America at that time. I have my doubts that Trump will be re-elected, that election is only a year away, and the pendulum will swing yet again.
