I'd like to see much stricter red flag laws, personal interviews with people who want to buy guns but have an emotionally unstable background, limits on how many guns and how much ammunition a person can buy. But I'd also like to see an investigation into what part medications play in these shootings. Certain medicines used to treat depression and mood disorders have been shown to increase suicidal and homicidal tendencies in certain people, especially young people. This should be carefully monitored, but because of big pharma will most likely not be addressed. I don't believe gender or race is an important component in mass shootings. The essential thing is to address guns, medications, and to put a stop to this madness.
