I wrote an article about this a couple of weeks ago. A business I used to work for furloughed all its part time workers during the pandemic, and now is taking the opportunity not to hire them back because the CEO wants "younger" people in the company. People who are "energetic and lively." Never mind that the older workers loved the job and all wanted to return. They're out, one and all.
