I used to get the flu every single year. One year it went into pneumonia and I was in bed for an entire month. My youngest child was 10 months at the time and I had to hire somebody to take care of the kids. That was 33 years ago. I’ve gotten the flu shot every year since then and haven’t had the flu since. Some people aren’t susceptible to flu. My sister never gets a shot and never gets it. But for those of us who are susceptible, the flu shot is a lifesaver. People are different and need to do what’s best for them.
