I think forgiveness is more for the person doing the forgiving than it is for the person being forgiven. Forgiveness keeps us from being killed inside by bitterness and anger. The most remarkable case of forgiveness I ever heard about was Corrie Ten Boon forgiving the Nazi guard who imprisoned her and caused her sister’s death. Amazing! I don’t think I could have done that.

Anyway, sorry Medium sent this to you, I’m sure they don’t know but can only guess what people’s reading preferences are. I’m not really qualified for anything, as you pointed out, but I try like everyone else to use my experiences to help wherever possible.

Sounds like you’ve been through some terrible things. I hope life is better for you in the future.
