I enjoy this platform more because I can w rite whatever I want. NewsBreak pays better, but the money never accumulates from past articles and the things they want me to write are restaurant reviews or articles about local charities, etc. So I try to do some of both, but I sympathize with people who are trying to make a living from their writing.

However, when social media writing was not a thing, my stuff got rejected; returned in big fat envelopes with a form rejection or occasionally a nice note. So I wasn't making money from writing then, and I wasn't even getting my work seen. Writing is not an easy way to make a living.
