I don't think you did and you shouldn't feel guilty. Everybody is going to get Covid sooner or later. Like you said, we can't isolate forever and some of the most careful people, vaccinated to the hilt and masked up, are getting it. Did you husband and the elderly relative get Paxlovid? The government says that helps.
