Hilarious! I remember the first article I wrote on Medium, after examining the lay of the land and giving a few people 50 claps each. I hit publish, then sat back and waited. Or rather, eagerly checked my stats. Not a single fan. Not a single clap. Ever. I quit Medium for five hours. When I returned to Medium much chastened and humbled, I dreamed then of getting 10 fans. That was my goal. And when it happened I was ecstatic!
