Heard this on NPR: "The risk of serious COVID-19 illness in children is comparable to their risk from the flu, but many parents seem more concerned about coronavirus. The issue of risk perception has a lot do with it." So even though there will probably be an uptick when school is in session just like there is with flu, maybe the kids won't be as much at risk as we think. Hopefully, anyway! Some of my grandkids have already had Covid, and others of them have been vaccinated.
