Great retelling of your journey. I, too, was ridiculed for being chubby. The boys called me "Big Butt" and girls called me fatso. Those skinny girls ate all they wanted without gaining an ounce, while I learned at an early age to watch what I ate and to exercise. Now the tide has turned. Many women my age are obese and I've stayed slim.

But on a different note, my grandson looked at the bathroom scale the other day and said, "Does this clock even work?"
