Great post, Elle! I first read about this condition in a New Yorker article years ago. I’m not as bad as you are, but when people I haven’t seen in months come up and say hello I don’t generally recognize them. Very interesting! The brain is amazing, and how we compensate for our brain glitches is even more amazing.
