Great post, Dr. Reid. With Jesus dying such a horrible death and feeling forsaken on the cross, I don't expect many of us will be blessed with a peaceful and lovely transition from this life to the next. But because of his resurrection, the near-death experiences I've heard about, and that nebulous thing called faith, I believe, as you've pointed out so beautifully, that we have the hope of seeing each other again.
