Great essay, Deborah! I do believe in a personal God, because I’ve read the gospels and believe Jesus and what he said. What an amazing man to walk the earth! But I can’t understand and explain everything, which is pretty much what the bible tells us: “Now I see through a glass darkly, then I will see face to say.” So I accept the mystery but keep my faith in this man who walked the earth 2,000 years ago and spread such a unique and wonderful message.
