Great article, Ryan. When I was the manager of a very small business with sales growing from 180,000 to 1.3 million under my leadership, the secret to success was keeping ego at bay and giving others a great deal of credit. You’re right on in saying that ego and creating your own narrative will distract you from the task at hand, which is putting your nose to the grindstone and focusing on the process.
