I was encouraged a couple weeks ago when I asked the health practitioner doing my physical to measure my height. At 71, I hadn't lost any height. I've never had a bone density test, but I had two big falls lately; one when I was hiking and landed hard on my hand, and the other one last night when I slipped, landed hard on my face (blood everywhere), and got bruises on knee and shoulder. No bones were broken either time, luckily! I do get a lot of exercise and always have, though, so maybe that has helped.
