Great article, but I’m so ADHD that the thought of doing all that work to get rid of clutter overwhelms me! Something I always think about when I consider getting organized is Ignatius, the main character in A Confederacy of Dunces.

Ignatius finally, at long last, found employment in an office and at first people thought he was doing a terrific job. His desk was always so clean and the files so neat. They eventually discovered he was throwing everything away that he needed to file, just to keep from having to file it. He even threw the file folders away.
