Great article, Buster. Thanks for the transparency. I've been around since 2017 and have seen Medium reinvent itself many times, with some of the changes being detrimental to quality, so I'm glad quality writing will be a focus.

It's great that changes will make the Partner Program more inclusive and more geared towards members, with continued emphasis on engagement and reader response.

Medium has a decidely Progressive editorial slant, so I wonder if stories written from a Centrist world view will also be eligible for boosting. Incorporating and promoting more political and cultural viewpoints might go far toward increasing membership and readership.
