Great article. I sit a lot because I write and because I'm 70 so it feels better to sit. But I walk 12,000 steps, about 5 or 6 miles a day and usually more. One thing I really like is my rower. That racks up steps and I can watch TV at the same time. I love TV. Not giving it up that great indulgence, and this is a recently-acquired taste, as I used not to ever watch it.
