Good post, Claire. One reason people live so long is all these medicines for hesrt conditions, etc. It’s ironic to me that on one hand an elderly person would want to die, but on the other hand would continue to visit doctors and take medicine to prolong life. Back in earlier times people died more quickly and suddenly because there weren’t as many medical interventions.
