Good for you! I brought my mother to live with me a little over a year ago, just before the pandemic hit, so I take care of her now. I'm happy to be able to do it. But I have to admit that when I visit my kids and grandkids in another state, my spouse and I stay in a motel for two reasons: 1. They let their kids stay up all night, so everybody is watching TV cartoons until 11 and getting whiny, and 2. My husband is allergic to their dog.
