Good article. Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street were lifesavers for me. Without governesses, nannies, or the "village" it takes to raise a child, mothers could quite possible go crazy without TV's as babysitters. Otherwise, demanding children want to be entertained and played with every single minute of their lives.
