Enjoyed your essay. It brought to mind several scripture verses such as “Lord I do believe. Help me with my unbelief.” And “Now we doo th rough a glass darkly. Now we know in part.” All people have doubts. But that should keep us always reaching and learning and prevent the arrogant supposition that we have all the answers. It should also help us love and understand those who don’t think like we so. Maybe that is why God left room for doubt?
