Did You Notice Your Claps Have Disappeared?
I noticed it a few days ago. When I read someone’s story, there were tons of comments but no claps. Very Mysterious. Not many people leave positive comments without clapping. Then I noticed that my claps weren’t registering. I could clap for someone, go back to their story, and my claps had vanished. The same thing was happening with my stories.
I figure there is one explanation. Medium is changing things up again. It happens every three or four months. With glitches. So either the claps are disappearing because of glitches with rolling out changes, or Medium is in the process of doing away with claps altogether. I dont have the inside track on the inner workings of Medium, so I’m just guessing.
One thing I’ve learned, though. If you want to stay on this platform, you remain flexible, go with the flow, and view it like you do the weather. There’s nothing you can do about it, but wait a bit and things will change again.
