Dear Tamara, do you know anything of history? Mass extinctions have been predicted so many times, and this old world keeps spinning on. There have always been great numbers of poor. Look at feudal times, Middle Ages, wars that have decimated populations. We’ve endured ice ages, eras when land bridges between the continents were covered by water, age of dinosaurs, celestial impacts that destroyed dinosaurs. What makes you think I short-lived generation can have so much more impact than all the previous forces of humankind and nature combined? Don’t be so pessimistic, my friend.
