Both my houses are paid for, but I still wouldn't mind selling one and renting, just for the maintenance, the fun of moving some place new, etc. The real estate around here has skyrocketed, but so has rent. I don't think we'll be selling any time soon, though. My husband is dead set against it, and we are conveniently located.
