As the member of a Methodist church, I also see these issues bubbling up. I try to avoid politics. Our church has married gay members who are very active in church. We are mostly focusing on our mission, and teaching the love of Jesus. I did read one article written by a progressive Methodist that indicated gay marriage was not going far enough. The church also needed to accept polyamory and other types of relationships. What do you think.
