Agree on many counts, Linda. I usually skip the articles on making money or how to succeed on Medium. I've been on the platform a long time and have seen my income steadily go up over time although I don't publish in their in-house pubs. I'm also an avid reader on the platform, and find the best reads by going to pubs I follow or writers I like instead of sticking with what comes up in my feed. When I make the effort to seek out those writers, I'm usually not disappointed. I also don't have any complaints about how Medium curates or promotes my work. They seem to keep old pieces circulating more than they used to, which is great. If several articles in a row don't get curated, I go off the platform to see what is being published and how it stacks up against what is published here and what I've written. Then I try to improve.
